I don’t know - “hapless loser” isn’t exactly what comes to mind when I see someone like Rubio or DeSantis—both savant-level executives. In fact, if there’s anyone who has come out looking a bit “hapless” over the past few months it’s Vance, as much as I’ve always liked the guy. It seems to me like he needs to grow and get a little more experience. This narrative that a President Rubio or DeSantis would be a return to the days of absolutely impotent losers like Romney and McCain is just bonkers. They’re nothing alike. And the angry, seething attempt by a bunch of Machiavellian isolationists who spend all their time screeching about Israel to just coronate JD without so much as a debate creeps me out. Like, screw you. I don’t owe you my vote. It’s your job to convince me.

One of my favorite things about Emeril rn is actually his son. He’s 23 yo and the youngest chef to earn 2 Michelin stars. He was trained at Le Bernardin and literally raised in Emeril’s New Orleans. He’s one of those nepo babies that is actually talented AF. It’s awesome.

I have an aunt that was a total baddie, total Free Love Boomer into her early 30s, got loads of abortions, then completed her PhD and settled down with a lawyer. Divorced him, another lawyer. Divorced him, third lawyer. Separated from him, tried to make it work for years, had an affair with a guy that owned a contracting firm, got a quick divorce and was at the altar two weeks after it was finalized. Same deal, it turned sour after a while, they both found Jesus, got church counseling, it didn't work out, started dating the tallest and wealthiest retired lawyer at her church, just married him last year. So she's on marriage number five, in her 60s, never had kids of her own, and has absolutely no issue whatsoever finding educated, wealthy, good looking men with all their hair interested in her. There is no wall. There never was a wall. Men want wives and female companionship. If you're an extroverted, nice, happy, and take reasonably good care of yourself, you can find love at any age.
