I do think that dealers need to adjust to current times. The simpler the process, the better the experience for both parties. I also think that if clients treated the purchase of a vehicle the same way as the 90% of their other goods, it would expedite the process exponentially. A lot of clients still feel obligated to haggle over perceived profit, which is a different process than most of their other purchases.

@Myracl_ @carsales_guy I do. It still takes hours to get out of a dealer. Look at it from the customer perspective. 90% of what we buy is click... doorbell rings and there it is. Homes and cars are for some reason different and that annoys people. Carsdirect was awesome at first, not now.

Do not visit a dealership until You know what you want You know the dealer has it You know what you should pay for it You know how you’re going to pay for it Bare minimum.

@grouparroyo @carsales_guy There is a fine line between “dealerships that are willing to sell” and a client feeling like they are being “sold.” If a client has an idea of what they are looking for before they go into a dealership, the facilitation of the sale is easier on both parties!

@external_idea @carsales_guy I would love nothing more than to have someone tell me exactly what they are looking for (model, color, options, and accessories), DocuSign all paperwork, and have me deliver the vehicle to their doorstep. It’s easier for both parties that way.

@carsales_guy Then sit for 4 hours as delays preparing the car and how they are "required to present all these options." It takes hours to deal with a dealer. Why bother? Click on car model, click on color, click on options, click on accessories, click on payment, click on delivery time.
