@Justin_Bons High node requirements can be a good thing. It keeps node operators committed and invested, however, to high barriers makes it impossible for smaller operators to participate, hence it becomes centralized in the hand of the few big ones.

High node requirements do not make a blockchain centralized! What matters is that it is permissionless & widely distributed A high barrier to entry keeps the system secure, as skin in the game aligns incentives That is how crypto & capitalism works; that does not make it evil!

@iWantCoinNews That is exactly what I did My pivot to SOL was less about SOL & more about BTC & ETH's failure to deliver on the cypherpunk dream Ultimately, scalable L1s will collect more fees, which is what pays for scarcity, security & decentralization! The future belongs to scalable L1s!

Crypto is absurd; the top 3 chains are nonsense, that is, if we are honest with ourselves: BTC has no capacity, programmability & no long-term security or scarcity! ETH also pivoted to reject utility, only to become a worse version of BTC... All while XRP remains centralized!
