Wasted potential is Bede because the moment he does something interesting, he gets sidelined, and the dlc rivals are both heavily motivated by the player to get stronger

But Hop really isn't well written rival, he has a small slump near the mid to late game and suddenly decided he gonna be professor in postgame. Hau's just there for vibes.

Something that is confusing me to no end... why is X products promoting cartridges of Pokémon rom hacks, when the rom hacks themselves aren't meant to be sold for a price. Is just it like the price physical cartridge, or... what, exactly?

It's meant to be a change that isn't permanent that reinvents the design itself.

Pokémon SPOILERY Breakdown⚠️ BIG IMPLICATIONS. Project Karasu(& a Murkrow) is apparently“the NEXT MAINLINE project”. A name that wasn’t in the TL. So if true,it proves that the TL Game Freak plans might not happen exactly like we think. What could this project be⬇️ Tbh anything is possible.Codenames do give little hints to the project. Karasu means “Crow” in Japanese. Also I personally think Murkrow isn’t here by chance and could be the mascot of the project. Here are the options IMO: -Karasu is the codename for the Gaia(Gen10) DLC. In the TL we did see an unnamed Gaia DLC, however there was also info in the TL that suggested that from SV onwards, devs would be making the base game with programming the DLC in mind. Also this Karasu name seems like a newly created codename(didn’t exist in 2024). Lastly DLC is not technically considered a full mainline game… maybe a project though? BUT IF it is a Gaia DLC based on the name and Murkrow, could this be a DLC in Johto? -Karasu is a new project that replaces the Gaia DLC. We know Game Freak like to change things up (3rd versions, then B2W2 sequels, then remakes, then DLC). Both the SV and ZA DLC weren’t exactly successful. Could Karasu be an entirely new mainline project for 2027, related to, but not just simple DLC for Gaia. What if this is the evolution of 3rd versions? -Ringo(L3)was cut OR reworked into Karasu. If we are sticking to the TL plans-technically the next mainline Pokemon game is supposed to be Legends Galar(Ringo)- because like I said DLC is technically not considered a full mainline game. So if Karasu is the game where Ringo should be, it’s possible that the idea of Ringo was cut and replaced with Karasu. Ballguy also said Legends 3 was still in production so this doesn’t mean L3 is cut, but just the Ringo concept from it? So no ai hoard battles, and possibly no Galar. Maybe the old Legends Johto concept has been revived for L3. OR like I said maybe Karasu is a reworked Ringo, meaning the main concept was scrapped enough to change the project name, but it’s still set in Galar with the same plot ideas. Don’t forget Galar also has a “Crow” Pokémon. (Related to Murkrow: Talonflame or Braviary was the mascot for Hyabusa/PLA, maybe there’s a bird theme for development of Legends games? Johto isn’t the only option though since Crows are black birds… so BW?) -Karasu could be an entirely different project from Gaia but still is the next mainline game after Gaia (in 2027/28). This could be a brand new experimental game possibly set in Johto or Galar? Maybe it’s even a Let’s Go 2 (Johto) game? -Putting all these points together leads to a final idea: Remakes are considered mainline games. We knew of a 3rd party BW remake in 2023/2024 from khu & other sources. (That particular project is now scrapped or reworked. I think “original soup, original taste” is gone as the TL also pointed out about BW remakes) After we learned of it being scrapped, Khu doubled down at the end of 2024 and said a BW “new project” was still in production AND “wasn’t in the TL”👀. Could Karasu be this same secret BW project? No longer made by a 3rd party but by a Game Freak team? In contrast to a Crow, Swan was B2W2’s codename (a primarily white bird). Maybe it replaces the Gaia DLC. Maybe it’s a remake that releases the same year as the Gaia DLC. Or maybe it replaces Ringo as L3? BOTTOM LINE: If this changed what else from the TL could change?
