I’m turning 26 next week and I’m honestly a loser. I’ve made dumb decisions and struggled with severe depression most of my 20’s. I got laid off last year and my car was repossessed. I found another job recently, but the damage feels permanent. Credit score is 295. $15/Hr in a kitchen. I have no savings, no retirement. My Business degree feels worthless. I can’t even afford rent alone, so i’m stuck with roommates for years. I’m just…lost..

I hate my life

i genuinely have no desire to be rich so i can buy a rolex or a Lamborghini. i want to be rich so i can control my time and go to the gym at 3pm on a monday. sit at a cafe and relax for an hour on a rainy afternoon. so i can cook meals at home with fresh ingredients. spend on my family and friends without worrying about a budget. that's my idea of a rich life, not the fake consumerist idea shoved down my throat.

When my bank account hit $2, everyone suddenly stopped answering my calls. Except one man He texted: "Come outside." He was sitting in his car with two burgers and two beers. He handed me one and said, "Eat first. Then we rebuild." That's when I knew who my real brotherrrrrrrr.
