Why piracy isn't the real problem - it's a rebellion against corporate and government greed: ThePirateBay: File sharing - Source to full free access to information with no censorship aka free speech and preservation of content through torrenting. What happened: Government/Corporate Greed - Attempt of fighting people's freedom. - Result: Site still up today and piracy went up between 10-30 Percent everytime they tried to kill it. Napster/Limewire: File sharing - Giving free access to information they could never find otherwise, promoting artists they would never hear of otherwise, preservation of content with no censorship. What happened: Government/Corporate Greed - Legally shut down causing people to retaliate. - Result: Alternatives started popping up like Frostwire, BearShare, Ares Galaxy, Kazaa, Soulseek, and BitTorrent-based apps, Netflix: Low prices and lots of movie & streaming content - Piracy was plummeting. What happened: Corporate Greed - Price increase, more streaming services with expensive monthly prices with ads, less content on each platform and less customers. - Result: People stopped paying and resorted to piracy and other free/illegal streaming services in retaliation of this, causing piracy to increase once more. Spotify: Free and cheap way to listen pretty much all music for free with good audio causing music piracy to plummet. What happened: Corporate greed - Price increase, less music on the platform, removal of content and censorship. - Result: Increase in piracy, less people paying for the service, increase in client modifications, people resorting to other measures to retrieve lost/uncensored media. Adobe: Editing softwares based to help people create/or modify photos, videos, graphics and more. What happened: Corporate greed - they killed one-time purchases and replaced them with overpriced subscriptions & large cancellation fees, even for students and hobbyists. - Result: Piracy skyrocketed, people stopped paying for their service and started cracking their software in retaliation. Video games: Games meant to entertain and connect people. What happened: Games are now bloated with $70+ price tags, unfinished releases, DLC paywalls, battle passes, and aggressive monetization with no right to ownership and huge amount of political propaganda/censorship. Result: Less purchases, Piracy increased. Players turned to cracked versions to avoid broken launches, overpriced content, bypass strict online DRM & region bans-like when Sony restricted games to certain countries requiring PS accounts. For many, piracy became the only way to play games. "Piracy isn't stealing. It's a resistance - resistance against greed. When greed wins, people don't just sit quietly. They fight back. The harder you try to control the world's information and creativity, the stronger the push for freedom becomes. And freedom… can't be stopped."

@Mysterek_ Yeah I think what the "emulator" does is it checks the filename of the file you put in and displays the video file. That's why they tell you to not rename the file. I'm not sure what they put in the file to make it so big though
