Qatar was contacted only after the operation had already begun, while Oman was not coordinated with until after Trump’s announcement. Without Saudi and Kuwaiti airspace, U.S. aircraft could not provide the defensive umbrella needed to protect ships transiting the Strait of Hormuz, making the pause effectively unavoidable. From the river to the sea is, by definition, a call to eradicate another existing nation state and is a call to violence in intent as well. Coincidentally, it’s also a call to eliminate the only state that is majority Jewish... and that itself is the reason the chant exists in the first place — because of an Islamist supremacist ideology that views Jews and other minorities in the region as less than the Muslim communities and undeserving of the right to self determination in their indigenous homeland that existed before Islamic colonialism ravaged the region. In a society that respects the rule of law and rejects political violence, maybe your point could be made. But the reality is that devoid of those civil protections the social contract is effectively nullified…and that’s exactly the society the UK has created by importing far too many of the worst actors from across the Middle East. People who fundamentally reject the equality of other minorities and hold Islamist supremacist views that they believe they have a right to call for violence against Jewish people, to even carry out the violence, and that furthermore they ALSO have a right to not be offended by speech that insults them or their beliefs. That isn’t how a free society works — and if you dont want to accept the terms of a free society, as far too many immigrants in the UK these days do not, then they should not be welcomed there in the first place.
