This is totally unacceptable and strongly condemnable. No matter the provocation, beating a LASTMA official is wrong and criminal. Taking the law into your hands only makes a bad situation worse. If there was any misconduct, the right thing would have been to report it through the appropriate authorities-not resort to violence. Assaulting traffic officials who are trying to manage our already chaotic roads puts lives at risk and encourages lawlessness. Lagos cannot function if people think violence is an option. Those involved in the attack should be identified and made to face the law. Violence is never the solution. ❌✋
