@vincent_vancode @Ripple @bgarlinghouse Well, if someone wants digital money, Ripple creates RLUSD in exchange for real money. When someone returns the digital coins to Ripple, these digital coins are burned, and Ripple transfers the equivalent value in fiat currency, for example.

It would greatly help the industry if @Ripple would provide an explanation as to why these RLUSD burns happen. @bgarlinghouse, no news creates a vacuum that pulls in wild conspiracies and rumours. A simple bit of comms goes a long way to create the right industry narrative, especially for your customers.
