RIP Manny ❤️ 16 year old Manny was a keen player for Church Stretton Magpies who transitioned at a young age into refereeing. We featured Manny last October when he was sadly diagnosed with terminal cancer. We are deeply saddened to hear that he has now passed away. Emanuel “Manny” Aston, a young referee whose passion, positivity and love for football left a lasting impression on those around him. Manny was a valued member of the refereeing community, and his dedication to the game will not be forgotten. Our thoughts are with his family, friends, and everyone connected to Telford Referees Association at this incredibly difficult time. A celebration of Manny’s life will take place on 18th April at 5:00pm. Those attending are invited to wear something red or a Liverpool shirt in his honour. Rest in peace, Manny.

If I’m honest, I’ve been going #Cheltenham for 24 years, and the last 5 or 6 it’s changed a lot. When they dropped the dress code that certainly didn’t help. Lots of coke heads, losing they’re pocket money and starting fights, it feels different, looks different. Shame 🍀

Just so you know, before I sleep. Darren England was the official today for City vs. Forest. Darren England was the referee for Chelsea vs. Arsenal on the weekend, where he allowed Saliba and Rice to wrestle Pedro and Hato in the box. And worst of all, Darren England was on VAR who refused to look at the Kolo Muani disallowed goal. Absolute state.
