Been super quiet on here, been wild this month :)
Over 100hrs flown this month, two jet cards on the books, dubai evac flights, and some of the most beautiful birds in the sky!
And a sick Bell 407 to tear up a wedding because - why not?

This past weekend was the first time ever flying on a private jet. All I can say is wow! What a cool fucking experience.
One of the other dads could not go to the hockey trip in Missouri so was generous enough to offer my son and I (and another kid and his dad) seats on the way home.
Not having to deal with the regular shitshow at the airport made for a truly awesome and unique experience
Whoever said money doesn’t buy happiness probably never had either.
I’m a regular joe but can quickly get use to the lifestyle! Sign me up.

Flight delayed on tarmac. Missed our connection. Based on the other flights available, which were also delayed, and the fact that taking a flight tomorrow would require getting back into a security line stretching seemingly for miles, we decided to get a car and drive five hours to our destination. That’s how bad air travel is right now. Driving is faster. Air travel is awful in this country. People don’t realize just how much it sucks unless they have to do it a lot. It’s not just TSA. Flight delays. Air traffic control issues. Service is even worse than usual. Every airport is crowded and slow and worn down and dirty. Everyone brings their dogs. The term “service animal” doesn’t mean anything anymore. Air travel used to be luxurious. People used to wear suits. Working for an airline was prestigious. The employees took it seriously. It sucks now. It’s terrible. This is the kind of thing our leaders should be fixing. Because the most frustrating thing is that it is so eminently fixable. If only anyone bothered to try.

Farming this question out. How would you handle?
Flew this podcaster/content creator type 2 weeks ago. Someone I’ve come to respect over the years - probably the 6th or 7th trip I’ve done for him. Always professional, pays immediately. He asked me to cut him a break on this most recent flight (went perfect) in exchange for a plug on the show and a IG s/o. Not normally something I ever entertain but I agreed and cut him a deal - 10% less than I would have charged.
He’s since ghosted and it’s clear he’s not holding up his end of the agreement. Do I leave it alone and chalk it up to the game or press him on it.
