@rickdank_o I remember when this came out, I was looking forward to it and read several reviews so I knew the ending. Really disturbing movie. It had decent advertising and was covered but you're right, it's forgotten and has been for a while. I bought a tape of it recently for $3.

A forgotten movie that I thought was pretty good when it came out is 2003's OPEN WATER. No Blu-ray release to date, completely memory-holed.

Not sure I've seen a contemporary director like Olivia Wilde, who has made a great movie in The Invite, after her first two movies were as mediocre as Booksmart and as awful as Don't Worry Darling.

Investors w/cash paid for it all, it was hardly talent as they WEREN’T exceptional compared to their peers at the time. Remember, all fame is based on appeal, look, & vibe which is hardly the prerequisite for declaring one is exceptional. A bit unorthodox yes, but that was it.
