Last night at 12:20 am EDT, NASA’s massive SLS moon rocket rolled out of the VAB to Launch Complex 39B. In the morning the rocket reached the launch pad and one could clearly see the tread marks from the crawler-transporter’s shoes or cleats (~900 kg each) in the river stone.

This afternoon, SLS appears ready to rollout to launch pad 39B. NASA stated first motion is expected to occur around 20:00 EDT. The 6.75 km journey is estimated to take about 12 hours. The Artemis II crew will now begin their quarantine keeping April 1 as the first potential

Note to visitors ahead of the Artemis II launch- Visiting Playalinda Beach and the surrounding refuge is always a good choice during your stay. However, you will not be able to stop at the vistas or beach lots 1-3 while SLS is on the pad. Starting March 20th hours are 8am-5pm.

As expected, the snowpack across the #GTA and SW #Ontario south of #Hwy8 has been obliterated! Not much snow left south of the line while north of the line its still hanging on! Most of the snow across Southern Ont should be gone by Wednesday with the exception of snow banks/ mountains #OnWX #ONStorm
