A general NASCAR documentary that covers the 70’s 80’s and 90’s year by year would be awesome! So much happened, there was so much cheating, drama and emotion in those years - the guys used to really throw hands! I think just a whole episode covering the Donnie & Bobby Allison vs Cale Yarborough would be so entertaining

Yes! I actually remember that now. It’s how my dad got Tony Stewart’s autograph! Hate that it’s monetized now. Especially since merch and going to the race is already expensive. There used to be so many give aways and freebies in the merch section at the track. It was always cool to me as a kid that I got to leave with a bunch of random stuff. Now all we get for free is a tshirt from the chevy booth lol

@NASCARdiva @nascar_opinion Same but at some point they started handing out tickets at like 6-8am to those in line so you didn’t have to stand in line until the autograph sessions which were often many hours later
It was a system that worked and didn’t only allow wealthy people to get autographs

The whole you gotta spend $100 to stand in line to get an autograph deal is ridiculous.
Nobody's autograph is worth that kind of money. Disrespectful to the fan base.

My dad’s NASCAR die cast collection got stolen from him about 2 months ago. For Father’s Day, I gifted him a huge basket of 1/24, 1/64 and a few haulers and he teared up a little!! Love that I was able to do that for him. He’s been a collector since before I was born & it’s such a bummer that some loser robbed him of his collection.
