The Convener of the Pakistan–Belarus Parliamentary Friendship Group (PFG), Ms. Natasha Daultana, MNA, met with the Ambassador of the Republic of Belarus to Pakistan, Mr. Andrei N. Metelitsa, at the Embassy of Belarus in Islamabad. During the meeting, the Convener highlighted the significant role of Parliamentary Friendship Groups in promoting parliamentary diplomacy and strengthening cooperation between Parliament of Pakistan and the legislatures of friendly countries. She emphasized the need to further enhance parliamentary engagement between Pakistan and Belarus and invited the Ambassador to visit the National Assembly of Pakistan to interact with members of the Pakistan–Belarus PFG. The Ambassador welcomed the initiative and underscored the cordial and friendly relations between Pakistan and Belarus. He recalled recent high-level exchanges between the two countries, including the visit of the Prime Minister of Belarus to Pakistan to attend the SCO Summit in 2024, the visit of the President of Belarus to Pakistan in November 2024, and the visit of the Speaker of the National Assembly of Pakistan, Sardar Ayaz Sadiq, to Belarus in August 2024 along with a parliamentary delegation. Both sides reaffirmed their commitment to further strengthening bilateral relations through enhanced parliamentary cooperation and sustained engagement between the two countries. 🇵🇰🤝🇧🇾 @NDaultana @BelarusEmbassy @PakinBelarus @ForeignOfficePk @NAofPakistan @appcsocialmedia @PTVNewsOfficial @RadioPakistan @PID_Pakistan
