@NBA_ComputerMan The S&P has historically been a strong wealth builder but Bitcoin feels different to me because the supply is fixed while the monetary base around it keeps expanding.

I’m 28 with over $150k in Bitcoin. People keep saying: Just buy the S&P 500 and wait 40 years. The S&P returning ~10% annually. Sounds great. Bitcoin going from $100k to $1M this decade alone is a 10x.

If Bitcoin is sitting at roughly $77,000 today we are essentially trading below 50% of the value of Power Law. $150,000 is conservative in my opinion. We should be trading above $200,000. What is holding Bitcoin back? 🤔

@TedPillows It's just a 4 year LIQUIDITY cycle... Bitcoin soaks up excess liquidity. The price has languished because the excess liquidity is now going into AI.

Everyone keeps saying the $BTC 4-year cycle is dead. But the charts don't lie.

@theswansjr @r_graus All true, but the price is the price... and Richard isn't wrong. He never said nothing was happening in the space he said the price hasn't done much. And he is correct (for now).

Nothing else is happening, Richard? No more adoption? No ETFs? No public companies adding Bitcoin to their balance sheets? No banks rolling out Bitcoin products and custody services? No governments discussing strategic reserves? You're just staring at the fiat price and wondering. Yep, not much happening. Genius.

Bitcoin hasn't advanced much in the past 5 years. I bought when it was $4K. Now there's the power law for you.

I have a serious question. What happens if STRC doesn't go back to $100? The way I see it is a follows: - Holders of STRC receive the dividend regardless of the price. - If STRC doesn't go back to $100m then Saylor can't sell more to buy BTC. - That is bad for BTC because the market will realize that the biggest buyer can't raise cash. -If STRC has one or 2 months where it doesn't hit $100 the market realizes that its not actually worth $100, it could be worth $70, $50, who knows... - As soon as that happen we get a death spiral of sorts where Saylor has to keep raising the yield to try get it back to $100. The only problem is that the more he raises the yield , the more BTC he may need to sell... What am I missing? Serious comments only please.
