Sappy post time: When we first started this and Wemby met with us, he made it clear to us how much this city means to him.. how much winning means to him. For years we’ve been a bottom of the barrel team and it was clear he was a man on the mission to end that. Our job was simple: bring the energy back to Frost Bank Center and he’d handle the rest… and he’s done just that. Every game is a sell out crowd that gets to witness history in the making. Am I biased? Absolutely, but I truly believe there has never been a player like Vic. Every game this Alien has given us his all, but yet, he has still made time to make sure we are enjoying our role within the stadium. He was there at tryouts. He was there at practices. He still gives us his takes on what we could do better. This man has a passion like I’ve never seen before. This season, even as it stands right now, has been magical. Being able to lead the Jackals has been an experience like nothing I’ve had before. I can only speak for myself but, there’s an eternal piece of gratitude I’ll always have for @wemby . He’s restored a light in this city that has been missing for years. The Spurs are back, Honking is back… SAN ANTONIO IS BACK…. and we aren’t done. Playoffs, here we come. Peace and Love, S
