@Ynneh221 @Shifty_Coffee @Adamvstime But the thing is they will all eventually become Norwegians, Poles, Lithuanians, Somalis etc. I’m not really complaining, just hilarious seeing foreigners thinking there are more white babies when it’s non ethnic Norwegians that also contribute to the rise of Norwegian birth rate

1). Norway 2025 Thread: Births in Norway in 2025 increased to 55,401. The birth increase was driven by an increase in births to Norwegian origin mothers who increased to 41,892 births, the highest since 2016 and making up 75.62% of all births, the highest % since at least 2014!

@Starkian7789 That’s because Norwegians don’t consider anyone past 2nd generation as an immigrant. Pakistanis, Ghanaians, Indians, Moroccan etc that came in the 60’s-70’s who have kids & grandkids born here are Norwegians… Soon the Somalis of 90’s- 00’s are gonna become Norwegians

@Shifty_Coffee @Adamvstime That’s a lie, I know many Norwegians that are 3rd Gen from Pakistan, India, Morocco, these people came around 1960-1970’s making them Norwegian.

@Adamvstime In the thread, you will see the separation of 2nd gen from those classified as "Norwegian Origin". 3rd Gen is essentially non-existent in Norway, aside from migrants from Neighbouring countries (Sweden, Denmark), as well as Germany.

@_johnsonator Look at Norway & Uk when it comes to Oil & Gas, one nationalised it while the other privatised it. One has a £2T SWF while the other one is import Natural gas from the country it literally shares multiple oil & gas fields….

natural monopolies should be socialized. competitive industries should be governed by markets. i don’t know why it’s so hard for supposedly educated people to grasp.

🇧🇷🇵🇱 Apparently, there is a good-weather version of Poland! A small town in Brazil, Áurea, where 90% of the people are of Polish descent. Wonder how they adjusted the Pierogi recipe for the local environment?

@Vincentinacab @upstatefederlst Refugees are substantially better than criminals from the US. Some of our refugees have been so successful they have made certain countries trillions like an Iraqi refugee in Norway. While you guys are less than 55% white and getting more & more Indian/Hispanic🤣

@NBCG__ @upstatefederlst We both know you’d prefer Ahmed the pedo from Pakistan and Mr. Rudakabana the child murderer from Rwanda. So much so that you’ll house them for free and refuse to deport them when they get in trouble.

Diversity is a nations weakness and It has been a tool for massive political change in the west. All immigration advocacy has been self interested, meant to advance the political power of other groups while undermining those who made this nation.

What people don’t know, Italian born kids to immigrant parents can’t get their citizenship until they are 18, an immigrant in your birth country, were excluded from many opportunities, but an Argentinian without a lick of Italian can claim it because their bisnonna was Italian
CNN@CNN

The announcement will be a devastating blow for those who believed the court would uphold Italy’s 160-year history of citizenship by descent, or ius sanguinis. cnn.it/3PBZRVR

I have a friend from Nigeria 🇳🇬… He moved his family to Chile 🇨🇱 They just had their second child… Born in Santiago. His son automatically gets a Chilean passport. My friend was so excited to share the news… His son starts life with access to a world he never had: Visa-free travel across Europe. Easier access to the US. Fewer barriers to doing business around the world. Things my friend spent his whole life fighting to get. Growing up with an American passport 🇺🇸… I never thought about any of this… The world was basically open to me. For billions of people, a passport is a list of places they can’t go… For the lucky ones… it’s a key to the world.

Once a Israel-lebanon peace deal is signed, The world will move on. Christians are left with central government controlled by Islam. Weakened Islam who desperately need to consolidate its power will want to « apply TAEF » (which Islam itself breached when they naturalized Sunni Palestinians and kept Shia weapons contrary to the signed deal) which for Islam means: deconfessionalisation politique….

@levelsio In a country like the UK ~85–90% of welfare claimants are British citizens, ~7% EU settled, ~1% refugees. Most migrants already have No Recourse to Public Funds. You see the problem? You are punishing the most vulnerable people.

I think I agree with you kind of But I think citizenship should still be possible to get after 10 years of cultural assimilation, learning the language, large financial tax and spending contributions, real work, absolutely zero crime (okay a speeding ticket is fine but not much else), like I'm a positive immigrant in Portugal and should get rewarded for that More than that though I think welfare should ONLY be for citizens not for residents It should be practically impossible to get free government money as a non-citizen, that includes unemployment, social housing, income support (free money), and even healthcare: healthcare can be insured privately for non-citizens fine with insurance companies, there's no reason the government should be paying for non-citizens I remember during COVID, entrance to many countries as a tourist required getting private healthcare, I got that to enter Thailand in 2021 All these welfare programs when they started in the 1960s were meant for citizens, not residents You'll see how unattractive Europe becomes for welfare seekers overnight when you do this And you'll be left with people coming to Europe who actually want to contribute! The GOOD immigrants!
@dwjorgeb@dwjorgeb

I don't understand why we need to easily grant citizenship to immigrants, regardless where they are from. Want to get residency here and work here and help the country? Sure, welcome! But why do you need citizenship? Why should it be easy to get an European passport? People work all their life in the UAE, Singapore or many other places without ever getting citizenship there, why is it such a big deal to grant European citizenship

People who think this is all about keeping out South Americans with only some distant Italian ancestry are tragically mistaken. In reality, Italy's elites (like those everywhere else) want to do away with the concept of Italian as an ethnicity and replace it with Italian as a civic identity only. Just watch. These changes will likely soon be followed by new laws, which will make obtaining Italian citizenship by current (and all future) migrants to Italy easier. This law is just the first step to that.
