Watching people parrot “discs always need a day one patch anyway” is embarrassing It’s complete bullshit. Capcom alone proved that wrong in 2026. Two massive releases shipped complete on disc , no download required, and both were sold out physically for months.

@Freshprinz992 @Stealth40k A lot of people enjoyed playing the cyber space levels, the open world didn't make much sense and it didn't need too, it was fun to play even if it lacked polish something all 3D Sonic suffered from especially SA1-2 and Heroes!

@NextGenNero Nah, 343/Halo Studio getting treated way better than id Software! One makes average games that most fans aren't satisfied with and the other dropped 3 bangers with banger expansion DLCs that most fans adore!

@Rechtschapenman @J03art I think it's just the first episode and the manga in moment lacks when it come in narrative details! For the 1st episode I think for 24min they can't put much in because the intro part + intro/outro generic took 9 mins, so that's 15 mins to tell a story!

@NBDanTE @J03art My dislike is mostly the pacing and lack of details. It makes the story feel not grounded in reality. Not for a single moment did I get to immersed in the wonder of GitS ambience and narritive. To me the Rythem of fast and slow is essential to GitS in manga and anime.

God, I hate anime fandoms sometimes. The new Ghost in the Shell anime dropped, and, like clockwork, the discourse has exploded. One side says the older movies and shows are the definitive version and calls the new series terrible. The other side says the manga is the only accurate version and trashes the older adaptations. It's exhausting. We can't enjoy anything without people turning every new release into a purity contest. Every Ghost in the Shell adaptation has something worthwhile to offer in its own way (okay... maybe not the live-action movie, but that's just my opinion). I grew up watching Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex on Toonami, and I still love its serious tone, mystery, and atmosphere. Just enjoy the version you like and let other people enjoy theirs. Not every discussion has to become a fight.
