The way the #Phillies reworked the contract of Cristopher Sánchez sets a horrible precedent for teams. Great for Sanchez, generous of the Phillies, but now a player that has far outperformed his agreed upon contract might ask his club to do the same. SXM 89 top of the hour.

@Stevenmsmith14 @JackFritzWIP No. Prior to TJS, his fastball sat at 98-101 and had an induced vertical break of 18+ inches. Now he’s sitting 95-97 and his IVB has dipped nearly 3 inches. He has no rise with it anymore.

@JackFritzWIP Not quite. He’s 2 years removed from TJ and although 97-98 mph is fine, his IVB is still about 2-3 inches lower than what it was pre surgery.
