@NCBlake @amandalitman there’s a reason these people are supporting her campaign… it’s not because she’s a dove/peacenik — they know about her husband’s business dealings and that she’ll be a reliable vote in advancing their geopolitical ambitions

This is molecular rape. The egg chooses specific sperm that its own conditions favor. Implanting nanobots to force sperm into the egg and override its selection process is a violation of a human being’s body at the most basic level.

@zbitter @Indymaster Brooks also seems pretty engaged with their elite athletes on product development + feedback. I imagine that's not as practical for an American athlete and a Japanese brand.

I was betting on Nike or Puma with maybe Adidas. Brooks makes sense to me the more I think about it though. Clayton seems to be into content creation and sharing his journey. Brooks is a good set up for someone who is interested in things outside of pure performance based contracts. IMO, they now have a shoe that can competes, which may have got them through the door to be considered. This is all just speculation on my part though.

A year ago, Clayon signing with Brooks would have been a surprise to me. It still wasn't my first, or even second guess, but I can see why. The Hyperion Elite and Hyperion Max are great shoes, imo and will likely continue to improve over his contract.
