During the week of March 23rd – 27th,we recognize First Responder Wellness Week. This week is an opportunity to recognize the mental and emotional toll carried by the law enforcement officers, firefighters, EMS, dispatchers, and others who protect our communities every day.

NCCDA Resource Prosecutors Amber Lueken Barwick and Donna Rainwater attended the @NCCULAW Career Fair along with 8 District Attorney Offices from across our state. Thank you, and Lon'Cherie' D. Billingsley, for including us in this event.

District Attorneys from across NC attended the Joint Legislative Oversight Committee on Justice and Public Safety. NCCDA Conference President, Seth Banks, and General Counsel, Chuck Spahos, shared the unique needs of prosecutors to seek justice and keep communities safe.

NCCDA Traffic Safety Resource Prosecutor, Tim Tomczak, presented to NC’s Drug Recognition Expert Instructors – these officers have achieved the highest level of DWI enforcement training that is available! Tim Tomczak said, “It was an honor to present to these DWI heroes!”
