@VidyadharMishr OP does, most Indian Leftists do.

This has snowballed over the past week. My entire Instagram feed is full of non political normie FEMALE friends, and more to the point, even BJP voting friends, reposting Sonam Wangchuk. People have short memories, this is deeply reminiscent of 2011/12.

#WATCH | Delhi: "I mentioned the role Prime Minister Modi played in stopping Putin from using tactical nuclear weapons in Ukraine at the end of 2022. But it's true, Prime Minister Modi is one of the few people who actually can exert some pressure and influence on President Putin, and that is clearly something India could do to stop this conflict," says Secretary of State of the Polish Minister of Foreign Affairs, Władysław Teofil Bartoszewski on the Russia-Ukraine conflict (14.07)

This is concerning......

यूपी: आगरा में फ्रिज वाले "शिवलिंग" की पूजा लगातार जारी है। अब दूसरे मोहल्ले की महिलाएं भी दर्शन करने आ रही हैं। @madanmohansoni

Buddhism is a defeated ideology. An Indian trying to be a Buddhist is like a Russian trying to be a Soviet. The only difference is; Russians have moved on while Indians still follow Buddhist concepts which doesn't work in real life.

China crashing the blood diamond industry is such a great story, really brings a tear to my eye

The premise behind the extraordinary AI investment wave is this: the only technology that will matter is AI. All other technology will be subsumed by AI because they can all be reinvented and vastly improved by a powerful enough AI. For example, AI will help find solutions to climate change. AI will help find medicines to cure cancer. AI will help solve the housing affordability problem in cities. AI will help us end war (okay, may be this one is my hallucination!) If you accept the fundamental premise and the concrete examples listed above, the only technology worth working on is AI. Do you accept the premise?

Break the Landowners. Break the Kulaks

Vizag’s AI story is moving beyond data centres. @Google India AI hub ecosystem expands with a logistics park with an investment of ₹1,008 crore. Read in @ETPolitics how it is projected to create 5,000 direct jobs m.economictimes.com/industry/servi…

9 men chased a family for 15 kms, threw stuff and broke their windows, causing them injuries - just because a female member didn’t let herself get sexually harassed by them. This is what resisting sexual harassment and rape leads to in this country.

A man bought ₹200 worth of mangoes from a girl selling them by the roadside and paid through UPI. As he was about to leave, the girl politely said, "Please wait for a moment. Let me call home and check if the money has been received." She explained that some people had taken mangoes before and showed fake payment screenshots using fake UPI apps without actually paying. Because of a few dishonest people, poor vendors are forced to verify every payment. What do people really gain by cheating someone who is only trying to earn an honest living? One person's fraud creates trouble for everyone else.

South Africa is an extremely strong Chinese ally and went all in on becoming anti Western, but yet its China's that's had the far more negative impact on its local economy than the West. Russia also has had no meaningful impacts whatsoever on the South African economy. South Africa is one of the few Global South countries where it would have been economically rational to have let bygones be bygones and actually go full Pro Western. They should have positioned themselves as Europe's offshore manufacturing/BPO base. Oh well, I hope they enjoy the 60 %+ youth unemployment.
