*ducks* I actually agree with Finch starting Mike Conley tonight. Conley will do a great job chasing Reed Sheppard on the perimeter and it keeps Bones in his bench gunner role. Would be really surprised if Conley closes, though. I don't like multiple guys playing different roles (Bones as a high-usage guy with starters and a Conley playing backup minutes) I see Conley starting as a way to maintain/strengthen the synergy the Bones/Slow-Mo/Naz triumvirate has shown, too

Kerr isn't perfect either with his approach. They haven't developed their young guys and their fans call for Kerr's head. Long season...

@PerryScott6770 @Chilz_otr @JordanDye But that's not this coaching staffs philosophy/plan. My original point has nothing to do with what I think about Joan. The backup plan for Rudy is Naz, Randle, and Jaden going into the game and has been all season. That doesn't change when Rudy get ejected.

@Chilz_otr @JordanDye He has played in 9 games. All garbage time. He is not part of the rotation and not part of the game plan. If Rudy was out for an extended period of time then maybe they would adjust. Going into the game he is not option A,B,C or D so he's not going in when Rudy goes out.

I’m so happy we spent out 17th overall pick and the $5M cap hit that comes with it on a 7 foot center. He looked really cool sitting on the bench while our only other big got ejected and our 6’9 forwards who don’t have an ounce of rim protection guard a 7’1 big who was killing us

The Timberwolves shot 7/47 from 3 tonight, the worst 3PT% (14.9%) in NBA playoff history when a team had at least 34 attempts. Minnesota missed 18-straight. For perspective, Houston shot 15.9% (7/44) in its infamous 0/27 Game 7 loss. The Wolves shot worse but pulled out the win.

Coach JJ Redick did a great job all season but he didn’t do a good job for Game 1. The Lakers stood around on offense, played too much one-on-one basketball, and he didn’t make any necessary adjustments.

@streethistory Club is a spring/summer sport, so kids that are finishing up 6th grade and going into 7th. 7th graders can start trying out for the high-school B&C teams in the fall.

What level should youth sports be earned minutes over equal opportunity? I've spent time this year watching 3rd grade all the way to the NBA, I know what level I think.
