Part of a clear shift in direction, The Charlatans released “Impossible” as the third single from Us and Us Only (October 1999). Released on 15 May 2000, it reflected their move toward a more roots driven, soulful sound at the turn of the decade.

@MCFCtrust @robcbuckley I've already read it, as it was distributed via the OSC mailing list recently. Just sounds like waffle to me and doesn't offer anything that doesn't already exist either via the OSC or City Matters. Some people have too much time on their hands

Not sure why they didnt just ask the OSC , the OSC sent round the contact details for this new group last week , weird to go after an Mcfc institution as one of your first acts. @MCFCtrust

This morning we wrote to the @ManCity on behalf of our members regarding questions around FA Cup Final ticket allocations. We will await a reply and update members as soon as we get one.

@MCFCtrust @robcbuckley What's the point of the mcfc trust. Already enough fan representation with City Matters and the OCS. Seems you are going after the OCS and done it in a snidey way too

@robcbuckley This isn’t us going after the OSC. A number of fans are questioning the sales process, and the Trust is seeking clarity on their behalf. Greater transparency over ticketing sales can’t be a bad thing.

With rumours that The Verve might be getting back together, and after no one ever thought Oasis would, which band would be No1 on your reunion list?

@TheBritpopShow Too much money on the table not to. The Smiths is probably the answer to your question. Or maybe The Jam.

@carlbucksey In the early years it seemed very much real and authentic but after 2018 it was very much exaggerated. It became clear he turned it into a business with fans with limited say. He would even call fans stupid for having an opinion.

@brian_horton4 @bifana_bifana I was at both of those matches. 2 of my favourite memories of watching City despite all our recent success. Winning when everyone expects you to get hammered and deserving to win is such a great feeling

14 April 1995 Wonderful shot of Maurizio Gaudino turning away after scoring v Liverpool in the crucial 2-1 win at Maine Road. Even the Main Stand getting a bit hot under the collar. Next game took City to title-chasing Blackburn and back to back wins. Job done, @brian_horton4 !!

@henrywinter The cross was an obvious and basic cross that any wide player worth their salt from the national league upwards should make. It was hardly Pirlo esq vision and execution. Are you on his agents payroll by any chance? Your PR for him recently is getting embarrassing

Few players could conjure up a cross as Trent Alexander-Arnold did for Kylian Mbappe against Bayern in the Bernabeu. Few could see the perfect place to put the ball for Mbappe let alone execute the pass. Alexander-Arnold could. Vision and technique. Other countries would celebrate such a talent. He’s won the Premier League and Champions League with Liverpool. He now starts for Real Madrid. Yet can’t make a 36-man England squad for a couple of friendlies. Neither of which England won. Alexander-Arnold did show why the watching Thomas Tuchel has concerns about him defensively. Few expect England’s head coach to pick him in his World Cup 26. Reece James, fitness permitting, and probably Tino Livramento are Tuchel’s right-back picks. But Alexander-Arnold showed the huge reward that goes with occasional risk. His dead-ball delivery and crossing are world class. Can Tuchel really leave such a game-changing talent behind? He probably will. And there will be crunch moments in the knockout stages, late on in tight games against far more testing opposition than England swanned past in qualifying, perhaps even in a penalty shootout, when England will regret not having Alexander-Arnold's right foot to kick-start their recovery. His club-mate, Jude Bellingham, showed at the Bernabeu why he has to start at 10 for England at the World Cup. Big-game player, came on and brought more menace to Real. His strong personality, technical and physical qualities are needed in pressure situations. Tuchel has exceptional options at 10, and Morgan Rogers is a Tuchel favourite, but Bellingham is world class. He has to start. #ENG #RMCF #RMABAY
