🚨 Every World Cup gives us a SHOCK nobody sees coming.
France lost to Senegal.
Argentina lost to Cameroon.
England lost to the USA.
With 48 teams in 2026, the chances of chaos are even higher.
Here are 8 historic World Cup upsets... and the 2026 version that could happen next 👇🧵

I remember when this question was asked before the World Cup and I said I'll go for Spain. Now, I'm not a 100% certain.
A bigger percentage would want Spain to win. My boys are there and a World Cup would do then a lot of good. However, with the whole sponsored agenda that Argentina has had to suffer right from the beginning of this World Cup, what better way to shut the mouth of all Messi haters than for them to win the thing, with Messi as highest goal scorer.
Either way, any one of them that wins, I'm happy.

There's a post I responded to that I made the exact postulations you're making now. I couldn't find the link.
Mbappe hasn't really evolved in play from the road-runner teenager that broke out from Monaco. That's not to say he's not good. He's a fantastic player. It's just that he has been limited, and that's saying something about the a player like him.
He's so focused on scoring goals that he has abandoned every other aspect of the game—passing, space manipulation etc.
Hell, he hasn't even learnt how to properly run behind the defender to ensure he stays onside most of the time. It's just blind running and hoping he's onside.
As he gets older, that pace will go. What will he do then?

Mbappe does not have the IQ to play football “very” effectively without his speed. Calm, and don’t drag me yet.
Do you know why Messi is still effective at his age despite being slower? It’s because he has learned how to play football without having to run too much.
At some point, Mbappe’s speed will reduce, but he doesn’t have that much IQ to survive so much without it.
On dead ball situations where he doesn’t have to run, just watch, he’s less effective. He can’t drop a mad line-breaking pass, he can’t wiggle around players. I mean, anything that doesn’t involve his speed, he’s less effective. Of course he’s done a lot without his speed, but he’s less potent, I hope you don’t misunderstand this part.
Mbappe is deadliest on transition. Same with Barcola and Dembele. If a team is in shape, these guys are not effective, e.g Paraguay…you can also see the France team, they don’t intend to keep the ball, their only plan is to wait for you to lose it and they play it to those 4 guys, you are finished.
Please listen to Thierry Henry. He said he was so quick and relied on his speed, a coach had to tell him at some point to play without his speed. This made him think more and play more with his brain.
As Mbappe grows, his speed will slow down, he still has more than 10 years to play, and I hope he can learn that part where he can be effective without speed. Cristiano scored more after 30 years old when his speed had reduced.
I hope you guys get my point, I know many will still misunderstand it.

France are not invincible. They haven’t just played proper technicians. No single serious team has played them. Cape Verde would have given them serious problem. They cannot control games, they only rely on those 4 attackers. They’ve met some serious technicians today, oya run now. Mbappe is zero on dead balls when every Spanish player is in position Dembele same Barcola only knows how to run, give him dead ball situations, he’ll disappear. They’re not technicians, they only RUN RUN RUN RUN, that’s why they’re dangerous in transitions.

@iamibrocoded 😂😂😂
So you had to pick the less of two evils because you know Argentina is winning tomorrow.
English

@jugrmn Leave agenda for Ronaldo fans
That was offside. Very clear.

@unicodeveloper I don't just understand. Stand up and play ball!

Beautiful half from Spain.
They've controlled the match well, and have snuffed out the few dangerous attacks that France had.
Lamine still haven't found his footing in the game. Apart from the penalty chance he made and the combination with Fabian in the box, he has been silently.
However, he won't care as long as Spain remain in the lead.

@iamibrocoded Revisit now, halftime, full-time, 4 years time, it will be Spain to win against France.
