UPDATE: Three people were shot and killed outside a San Diego mosque, including a security guard who may have stopped an even bigger massacre. Police say the two suspected shooters, ages 17 and 19, were later found dead in a car near the mosque from apparent self-inflicted gunshot wounds. Investigators reportedly found anti-Islamic writings in the car, a suicide note, and one of the guns used in the attack had the words “hate speech” written on it. —NYT
