@mar5hallhoops When as the parent of a player should you consider trying out for an aau team. I have a daughter that just completed her 5th grade season, and we have been skill/skill/skill driven for a while now. Any advise would be great as she is our first.

People are poisoning family’s brains and they are falling for it. I never mention schools, AAU teams or kids names but if I did…. So many would be pissed because many chasers never caught anything. It didn’t work. Found out too late had had to settle. Give your kid a chance.

Clinton comes up with a huge Mississippi Athletic Conference road victory, knocking off @BettSchools 73-65. First win for Clinton over Bett since 2009. Jhaliana McCorkle with a game-high 28 for River Queens. Alyvia McCorkle, despite being gassed, led BHS with 24.

We have a good one going between two of the top teams in the #MAC as @BettSchools leads Clinton River Queens 40-38. Jhaliana Guy with 18 points for River Queens. Haley Engels with 11 for BHS, Alyvia McCorkle with 10.

@KmKj300 10-80-10 principal applies to a lot of scenarios, you lose you 90, by catering to the bottom 10.

Yep, it’s the behavior. Sad thing is, it’s not the majority. It’s the never ending hell the few that make everyone insane! We need to stop catering to the bottom 10%.

@BRSchuff IMO, a lot of it has to do with the women's basketball team. We had a generational player there that everyone flocked to...she left and people still bought tickets to watch a mediocre women's team this year. Few other schools are competing with their women's team for ticket sales

If you can’t play catch, you can’t play. Plain and simple. If you didn’t know by now, @MorganStuart18 and I keep it real. No tiptoeing around subjects to avoid hurting your feelings. When you reach a certain age, balls should be thrown consistently in the chest every single time when you’re playing catch. If not, you’re not focused/working on it enough.
