@NFAmagazine Exactly, esp since they are only selling at the $20-50 price range… that’s basically Stock photography returns at this point - May as well leverage adobe stock as it has a much “bigger collector base”

My frens, ❌Just because you admire someone, doesn’t mean they promote things that are good for YOU❌ I don’t know Ruben, but I do know that I won’t be participating just because I like his photos and want to get on big artists or collectors radar🙅🏻‍♀️ I urge everyone to read @vwestphoto_nb QT on this. These are the terms and conditions I hated in web2, they are the standard BS that having help most people. (Yes there are some who are successful at licensing photos, but look at the %, odds are not in your favor) These sort of things are what got us all running to “web3” in the first place and now people willingly let this back into their lives like a wolf in sheep’s clothing? Fck that. Web3 is about taking back the control. “But discoverability Rachel, let them sell my work for me!” **Frens, exposure doesn’t pay them bills, if you don’t trust me just look at EVERYONE around you. The amount of exposure you are wanting is not something this will provide.** Are they really going to sell your work lie you think? Or are they just using YOUR artwork to build THEIR platform and having YOU PAY for it? You have the product they need. You have the things they* should pay for, not you paying them. I urge patience to see if it’s really worth an 80% pay cut. I support artists being valued and we can’t be valued if we don’t value what we bring to the table.
