Here’s Ben Stein in 1979 describing television as an engine of cultural demoralization. He argues that a small clique of producers and writers pushed a left-coded inversion of reality onto the public. They despised traditional power centers and hated figures like Buckley. They propagandized the nation into accepting a fake world where businessmen are villains, criminals are the good-guys, small towns are sinister, military officers are proto-fascists, and work barely exists.
Yuri Bezmenov's Ghost@Ne_pas_couvrir
In the 1970s Ben Stein interviewed major TV producers/writers to ask why their portrayal of US culture was so distorted. Businessmen were evil. Real life crime was always depicted inaccurately, favoring instead the Marxist narratives on race, class, and culture of the new left.

@ALTPEPEEEEEEE Would the standard pose or variation Super be worth more?

During the WBC I was approached by an auction platform for a private sale on the Yamamoto and he had a huge buyer of Yamamoto. The buyer was blah blah blah highest sale blah blah blah, something to that respect. Asked me to give them my price. After much thought, I gave them my price well before the image variation superfractor was done at Goldin. The auctioneer came back and said I was too high. The image variation was sitting at around $56,000 I think. My number was $500,000.
Fast forward to the night Yamamoto pitched in the WBC and the image variation SUP finished at $461,000. The auctioneer came back and said his buyer would pay $100,000s area for the kanji and to realize the buyer was a blah blah blah…
After a few back and forth, I declined the offer as I felt it was just a troll offer from buyer. Was it a serious offer? Did the buyer know something about the auction of the IV SUP? I have the utmost respect for the auction platform that approached me and the individual but I declined. Here she sits in CASA MEGA, still.
True story…

English

@CardPurchaser
Was a big MJ seeker back in the early 90’s. Bought more in the early 2000’s.
Any of these worth anything?

English

@LucasDiaz9_ @CardPurchaser For sure lots of people just do psa authentic on 1/1 even if clean
English

@NFL1stLook @CardPurchaser Thanks! Yea I guess psa authentic would be the best move and it also keeps the focus on the damage to a minimum (at least I would think)?
English

@CardPurchaser pulled this 1/1 and am super stoked! Noticed it was a bit dinged up wonder if there is a process that could somehow get this fixed?? Also was wondering value since it is a 1/1 shield. #nflcards #1of1 #primetime #sportscards #panini #paninisilhouette

Today Gov. Ferguson signed SB 6346 — Washington's new 9.9% income tax — with a "necessity clause" attached, designed to block you from voting on it.
There's just one problem. The WA Constitution says necessity clauses apply only to laws needed for "the immediate preservation of public peace, health or safety, support of the state government and its existing public institutions."
That's a comma. Not an "or."
Both conditions must be met:
1. An immediate emergency
2. Support of existing institutions
A brand new unconstitutional income tax — one that doesn't take effect until 2029 — isn't an emergency and is designed to support a budget that doesn’t even exist yet. The legislature and the governor know it is unconstitutional . They attached the necessity clause to prevent voters from have a say, invented an "or" that isn't in the Constitution, and dared someone to stop them.
So we are standing up for the constitution and have filed a referendum anyway. The voters of Washington deserve the chance to decide — and we intend to give it to them.

A Referendum to repeal the income tax has been filed!
