🫧💪🇮🇳Progress update on the joint "Clean Water Initiative" in rural India!
This initiative is supporting female empowerment by utilizing Tech and Innovation, Inclusivity, Education and Health. The project is lead by a mixed team where
@cryptomarie2023 & @rushda08 are managing all the onsite efforts including everything from talking to community/village council, installing the technology and educating the people in the villages on how to secure the clean water. By making sure of clean water the community will be able to prevent deseases from bad quality bad water.
The technology setup will be based on the @helium network and powered by @solana. Water Quality Data will be gathered from IoT sensors that will gather data on the @solana blockchain. If the IoT sensors will provide data showing on bad water quality a message/notice/alarm will acknowledge the village community that all water needs to be boiled in order to prevent deseases.
In our recent meeting, significant progress was achieved, mapping @helium hotspot placement locations, in the villages, providing a Lorawan network coverage for @seeedstudio sensors in the Karnala Village Council, our first rural settlement. This first community will set the stage for later on expanding our "Clean Water Initiative" to more communities in India and later on maybe in other development countries having issues with health due to poor water quality conditions.
