Since losing my husband to cancer I’ve:
-landed my dream job
-decided I wanted more & quit that 6 figure job for Web3
-bought 3 investment properties
-set up 529s for my kiddos
-diversified my portfolio in stocks + crypto
-launched the music biz my hubby always wanted
But most importantly I’ve learned that money isn’t happiness. At the end of the day having the freedom to attend my kids activities, travel with them, cook them dinner every night, reading a book with them, that’s what counts.
I loved my corporate career (I was badass boss ya’ll 🤣) but I wouldn’t go back to that for anything in the world.
I’m always tired af (see pic 🤭) but it makes me happy to spend my days talking art and innovation and technology with everyone here.
Random advice:
Stop chasing that high and enjoy the moment.
Circle those profits into something tangible that’ll make you proud 20 years from now.
Leave the drama for the actors. You’re better than that.
Don’t burn yourself out by thinking you can work 24/7. You can’t, and even if you could don’t do it. Your life and loved ones are literally moving right along with or without you.
