@stephen_icu At Northampton we are lucky to have a new unit. We have two rooms- one has a toilet a small kitchen and an en suite bedroom with shower. The other is for family discussions. It works very well but now that visiting is open again it can get crowded.

We excluded CAM +ve so found it it was not used enough to justify the expense of leasing for a year. Unfortunately, it had a great role for some pts especially in pain relief, so would be good as an extra string to the bow.

(Clearly it must never be used if patient delirious)
Gold standard - if we have capacity to get patients into real fresh air we should 💪

🙋♂️ Must see!- Intubated ICU patients using VR platform technology to exercise in bed & escape for a brief vacation!
👉 Still critical to walk & mobilize intubated patients as well!
