@BeardBaldCards I’m going for the master set personally. I think good/bad is subjective but the consensus seems to be if it doesn’t have Gengar/Charizard/Pikachu it’s a bad set

Initial market price for Perfect Order is right around $800 for a master set. Full Art trainer at almost $200 is the top chase but realistically that card will plummet in price. Only 2 cards over $100 in the whole set. Let’s see if scalpers really believe this set is terrible

@DoubleMMoon @PokeTeeJay It’s not even the scalpers fault 100% it’s people’s inability not to FOMO and feed into it that’s causing it. Collectors have all the control if the collectively just stopped buying secondary market product the whole thing collapses and goes back to normal.

@PokeTeeJay @NGaming88 We need similar tiered sets like Perfect Order for the next 1-2 years. We need to rapidly decline the population of the rip n shippers, the flippers, and scalpers. We need LGS to start selling at MSRP, they need to be forced to buy product they can’t move over MSRP.

@TisMeeks They can’t “just fix” this issue. It’s been an issue for years just more at the forefront this year. Online will be largely unplayable through ‘26. Until sports games go to dedicated servers you’ll continue to see these issues.

I’ve been saying it man. Shut the servers down until you get a fix. I think most people would rather have them shut down for a day or two so they can get the appropriate fixes to everything. Thoughts on this #MLBTheShow community?

@knoyhead People that want a nearly 100% of scoring sealed product whenever they want it without camping out. Honestly if you’re playing the long game, I’d buy ASC ETB’s at their prices just to be able to get them because it’s not like the set is going to tank with the chases it has.

Ok, at this point we all know GameStop literally just doesn't care and is going full on LCS style markup/scaleper mode. The real question is WHO is actually buying this stuff from them for it to make sense for them as a business?!?

@Nutzypoo_ttv It’s a by product of more people cheating in the game. It’s not passivity at the plate when they already know 100% of the time whether it’s a strike or not This is the downfall of the Show and they’ll never recover. No game in existence has been able to develop a good anti-cheat

Everyone's on board that Pitching is broken in MLB the Show? I have been beating this drum since 23. The enlarging of PARs and RNG that goes with it plus an inconsistent strike zone has made pitching unbalanced for years. You can put 10% of the PAR outside the SZ and a perfect pitch will ALWAYS find that 10%. It's frustrating, unbalanced, and leads to everyone being able to be way more passive at the plate until the RNG inevitably screws you and you leave a pitch down the middle to get hammered.

@PokeTeeJay That’s exactly what I’m hoping for. We mastered SF for ~ $400 last year including the promos. OBF just under $300 JTG ~ $450 (got the Clefairy at $100 NM at the downswing) On the fence about SCR while I’m targeting all the trainer galleries. I want the POR master set

Genuine question for those who rip.... Aren't these sealed cases supposed to have 2 of each promo? Every opening I have seen of one has been 2 Kanto, 2 Sinnoh, and 2 Alola sets.

@PeakHobby You could buy 3 boxes from GameStop of all places for $150 and at least get 6 packs on top of it. If you’re just chasing the set, you could sell the sealed packs at $8-$10 each along with duplicate series cards

It's okay to call Perfect Order a horrible set, every Era has one. Scarlet & Violet -Shrouded Fable Sword & Shield -Rebel Clash When your best SIR looks like an Ultra Rare and when your best IR would be the 6th best IR of Destined Rivals..its okay to not like a set.
