Good news to start the year! In Dec our @NHSBT_CMT Southampton team supported Salisbury District Hospital with their first autologous peripheral blood stem cell transplant🧬 A fantastic milestone for the hospital & thanks to all at CMT Southampton for their hard work and support!

Did you know the NHS Cord Blood Bank has over 22,000 cord blood units? Generously donated from mothers after the birth of a baby, which otherwise would have been discarded. 16,000 are suitable for clinical transplant whilst the remainder are available for cell therapy research.
