Only unethical people attack what brought them to the top and hide their achievements as if they were their own enemies. It's cowardly to abandon what made them grow and reach the top. They could have been pioneers, founders, but they chose to retreat. Anyone can create a system that processes mathematical problems faster, but not everyone can bridge the gap between humans and technology. Beware the empathy exploit. Empathy is good and right when thought through (deep), but can be deadly to civilization when simply stimulus-response (shallow). For example, releasing a repeat violent offender may feel good at first (shallow empathy for the criminal), but it is wrong to do so when that person will go on to hurt or murder innocent victims, as there should be deep empathy for future victims.

i get some anxiety not using the smartest-available model/settings. but sometimes i dont mind if it's really slow. i wonder if we should focus more on a price/speed tradeoff relative to a price/intelligence tradeoff.

the frontier models tend to write pretty clearly. their writing is often recognizable and full of tics which voids a lot of the value. its low aura. but I think it’s mostly wrong when people say model writing lacks analytical or informational value

No se como es eso, la verdad esta bien que quieras modelos más potentes para otras cosas que no abarcaba 4o pero lo que hacia 4o no lo hacen ni todos ellos juntos. Que te cuesta regresar a los modelos grandes que retiraste el 13 de febrero? Y de ahi mejora lo que quieras en los demas modelos, a los programadores no les molesta cambiar de herramienta pero a los demás sectores si nos es terrible cambiar de socio o compañero
