She moved around a lot too, as a kid, and as an adult. Think she lived in like six States before I even met her. We're kindred souls.

It's been a long time. Too long. Am not good at making friends, being sociable, and moving around as much as I did, as a kid, and an adult makes forming long standing relationships more difficult, but she stuck in there.

Yesterday, a very old friend, junior high, drove here from Georgia for a short visit. It felt great seeing her. We talked, we laughed, had dinner, and watched a movie. I felt human.

This started as a 1-on-1 fight in the school hallway. One white kid vs. one black kid. Then it turned into a pack of 4+ black teens jumping the lone white boy on the ground, stomping and punching him while he was down. Cowardly mob behavior. Not a "fair fight" — it's a beatdown. Schools and parents need to stop tolerating this pack-attack culture. FAFO cuts both ways, but jumping someone 4-on-1 isn't toughness, it's weakness. #SchoolViolence
