Welcome to our update for Week 10 of 2025! 🚀 This week, we’re diving into new features on the Neural Internet dashboard, the latest in decentralized compute, and key updates on our upcoming participation in Bittensor’s Novelty Search. 🚀 Neural Internet Dashboard v1.3.0 Update On March 6, 2025, at 4:30 AM UTC, we released v1.3.0, bringing key enhancements to the compute dashboard. ✅ Crypto Top-Up Feature – Users can now add funds using USDC on Ethereum, Solana, and Polygon, as well as USDP on Solana. ⚡ Performance Boost – Smoother user experience with optimizations for speed and stability. 🐛 Bug Fixes – Improved responsiveness and reliability. 🌐 NI Compute at Bittensor’s Novelty Search (Postponed) Our co-founder @aizorr0 and our CTO @hispattern were set to join Bittensor’s upcoming Novelty Search to discuss: 🔹 NI Compute (SN27) & the NI DAO – Roadmap updates, incentive mechanisms, and trustless compute validation (Proof of GPU). 🔹 Decentralized Compute Challenges – Addressing UID limitations, high availability, and Akash interoperability. 🔹 VC-Free Funding & Token Economics – Exploring NI DAO strategies, buybacks, and secure compute infrastructure. The event was originally scheduled for 9 PM UTC on March 6th in the Bittensor Discord but has been postponed. It appears that there is a growing problem with Bittensor Validators trying to ‘game’ the system. What I am seeing is that new subnets are registering and then validators are running fake code to increase APY.
While I can appreciate the ingenuity, this is not a good look for Bittensor, and more importantly, it is affecting the Subnet owner’s ability to launch their code and operate as intended.
I see that Rhef, Vune, and Capricious have come up with a potential solution to this challenge and encourage this to be implemented as soon as possible.
