Support Our Students-- state aid cuts hurt our children.
@EdLawCenter ARP funding to schools was granted based on economic need. No district receiving major ARP $ can sustain state aid cuts without using ARP to fill the gap. Now is an excellent time to #pauseS2 write legislation that facilitates #adequacyforall @GovMurphy @DrAllenMcMillan @nj_sos

Shocking that an S2 districts needs $$ for roofs and paving. Yet @GovMurphy still allowing CUTS to some schools while state sits on billions in federal $$. Absolutely ridiculous isn't it @SecCardona?

As our schools reopen, @NJDeptofHealth and @NewJerseyDOE are releasing details to districts for $267 million to support K-12 coronavirus testing programs. We are ready for the start of the school year and want everyone to be as safe as possible in their schools and classrooms.
As schools may be on the hook for overseeing COVID testing of unvaccinated employees I hope @GovMurphy is working w/ Healthcare providers to reduce those costs when not for medical purposes. We are losing $5 million this year-we will now be cutting staff to pay for tests. Wow.

Glad the NJ spending plan for federal $$ was approved-we do not need an acceleration coach -what we do need is not to be cut millions of $$$ in midst of the pandemic by S2-yet thats what is happening to FRHSD. #theregional being cut almost $7 million. Looking for help @GovMurphy
This is an easy answer- Make Public Schools in NJ who’ve lost millions to S2 funding whole again!! These schools & students should not suffer! How should N.J. spend its billions in federal aid? There’s no shortage of ideas. nj.com/politics/2021/…
To put this in perspective, even after bump in Extraordinary Aid, the FRHSD still being cut over 5 million $$. Have stated again & again what S2 is doing to many efficient districts. With billions from Fed. Govt to blindly push forward is malfeasance of the highest order.
