The Prime Minister of India's visit to Israel today is no less significant than that of the President of the United States. India is important because: 1. Israel is in an arms race with Turkey. Israel has technological superiority - Turkey has industrial potential. India is an industrial giant, much stronger than Turkey in this regard. In addition to purchasing weapons, India can assist Israel with foreign labor, industrial expertise, space cooperation, communications, and the creation of production lines. 2. India is destined to become one of the richest countries in the world in terms of economic size. Today, it is the fourth-largest economy in the world. Even if only a few percent of the population join the middle class each year, this is equivalent to the emergence of a new European metropolis every year. India faces many challenges where Israel can provide significant support - green technologies, environmental solutions, water management, and energy systems. 3. New alliances. When Indians say, "Israel is our friend," they are also sending a message to Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Qatar, and others - that the future trade corridor connecting India to Europe will pass through Israel. This puts pressure on America to support Israel - and on Germany as well. India is an industrial competitor of Turkey, and the Israeli-Indian alliance is a strategic obstacle for Erdogan. Together with Israel's growing ties with the United Arab Emirates, Cyprus, Somaliland, and Greece - from India to the Horn of Africa, from the Mediterranean Sea to supporting the Druze in Syria and interacting with Central Asian states - Israel is shaping a reality focused on controlling trade routes. These are extremely important days, as Israel helps shape the Middle East amid the weakening of Iran - and in the face of the emerging Islamic axis of Turkey, Saudi Arabia, and Qatar, with which we are in a race for power and influence. In the era of great power and civilizational competition, Israel has demonstrated to the world one of the most advanced armies and one of the most stable financial sectors. As we enter the industrial revolution of artificial intelligence, Israel is in a strong position for a new global order.
