Today saw the return of our 'Hatwalk', the library's literary fashion show of home made designs! Harry Potter was a deserved winner, with a complete Hogwarts and a rather realistic looking snake built in. @NLCS_English

We had almost 200 entries for our 6 word story competition for #WBD22 - you can see them all, plus the winners, in the library

St Valentine has arrived early @NLCS1850 - pupils and staff have been hanging hearts on our tree detailing their favourite books, and library monitors have created a display of the recommended books. Look out after half term for a reading list - books we love!

EPQ season gives us the opportunity to refresh targeted areas of stock, particularly those subjects where information develops rapidly. Hopefully we will be up to date with geopolitics for a little while at least! @NLCS_Geography

#ThroughHerEyes diary Sophie Bryant (1850-1922), activist, mathematician, educator and apparently the first woman to own a bicycle! She was one of the founders of the London School of Philosophy and one of the first women to get an honorary doctorate from Trinity College Dublin.
