Game 5 goes to @lakers_1945 vs. @FrGotteron. Fribourg had its second worst 5v5 offensive performance of the season and its PP didn't help. Rapperswil had the edge at 5v5 and did an excellent job preventing Gottéron to enter the offensive zone in control.

HC Davos wins game 5 and moves on to the semies. Another very defensive game like in game 4, but Davos capitalized on their chances this time. Very good fight by Zug throughout the series.

Game 4 goes to @officialGSHC vs. @lausannehc. An early lead on the PP by Geneva, who tried to control the pace of the game afterwards at its lowest level and was able to surprise Lausanne on counter-attacks, with 3 goals. A late push by Lausanne, but the gap was too important.

Another tight game, another win for ZSC, sweeping their series against Lugano after that 2-1 win on the road. Zurich was not dominant per the numbers over the four games, but really morphed into their old selves from last season. Cold, collected, clinical. HCL fought well!

Jiri Felcman had a real breakthrough season with Langnau, establishing himself on the top-6 alongside imports players. He is big, fast, very effective on transitions and a playmaker in the Offensive zone. Very impressive for a 20 y-o. Here are our stats tracked for this season.

Game 4 went to @FrGotteron v. @lakers_1945. Once again, Fribourg had a strong performance, both ways. Despite the many injuries, all lines were able to contribute. With another tight game in the neutral zone, Rapperswil has to find solutions to produce more offensively.

EVZ survives to fight another day, winning game 4 against Davos 5-2. Very few events in thie game but some juicy rebounds (and some auto-goals as well). Very good defensive performance by EVZ.

Game 3 went to @lausannehc vs. @officialGSHC. Transitions are getting better for both teams. Less PP time, more 5v5. Geneva scored twice on its PP, but has issues converting its chances at 5v5. Indeed, Pasche was once again decisive in LHC's win.

And it is a 3-0 lead in the series for ZSC after another win against Lugano. And the more they play in this series, the more ZSC is playing better... They finally had the edge at 5v5 and did not even need power-play time to seal this one.

Game 3 goes to Fribourg vs. Rapperswil. Fribourg was able to finally convert its chances. They also did well limiting Rapperswil's chance at 5v5, preventing them from entering in control and slowing them in the neutral zone.

No suspense in game 3, with HC Davos scoring 3 goals very early and shutting down EVZ 1for almost 30 minutes. Zug pushed in the 3rd period to get their game going before the next game.

Game 2 went to @lausannehc vs. @officialGSHC. As compared to Game 1, there was more offense from both sides, but GSHC had the adge at 5v5 and on the PP, where they created most of their xG. Pasche was a difference maker for Lausanne, despite Geneva's activity around his crease.

ZSC takes game 2 agasinst Lugano but once again faced a serious opposition. Very tight game at 5v5 and overall on Expected goals despite a large advantage on shots for Lugano. ZSC and its killer attitude strikes again.

Game 2 went to @lakers_1945 vs.@FrGotteron. Tight game until the 2-1, with lots of PPs. And a strong push by Fribourg in the third period. For Fribourg, missing Sörensen, Schmid and Biasca, while facing a Nyffeler at his best, is an equation they'll have to solve fast.

ZSC wins game 1 against Lugano but the Bianconeri had a clear edge over the game, but could not put the puck past Hrubec. ZSC got his killer touch back, like last season.

Game 1 went to @officialGSHC against @lausannehc. Two well structured teams, a tight neutral zone, both teams deniyng entries well, which resulted in a low-event and tight game at 5v5. Geneva added many chances from its PP. The GWG came on a late point shot by Puljujärvi.
