@BohannanIowa Makes absolutely no sense. A primary determines a party's nominee. In a perfect world it wouldn't even be a government run poll (but someone has to facilitate it.) want your voice heard? Register with the party you want to influence. You can always change.

A full third of voters in SE Iowa are independent voters, and yet they are disenfranchised from voting in primary elections by insider politicians who want to keep their power. That’s why I support the Let America Vote Act. It’s time to open up party primaries so every Iowan’s voice is heard.

If you're telling me my prescriptions went down 600%, I'm waiting for my check. This is straight mathematics. No other way.

It’s possible they are looking at it differently. If a med was $10 then went up to $600 it would be a 6000% inc. That same med changed from $600 to $300 is a 3000% drop. 50% down from the new $600 price. And that’s the point. He may be starting from an original price that may have doubled in price many many times. We know numbers confuse you.

I was the guest speaker at a Mahaska County Republican dinner last night. I was asked to handicap the five Republican candidates vying for the nomination for governor and the obligation to debate Democrat Rob Sand. I asked, “Who is the best candidate to debate Sand?” I heard “Sherman” then “Steen” then “Lahn.” But Feenstra is touted as the front runner, so I asked flatly, “Did anybody say Feenstra?” The entire room instantly and spontaneously broke up in hilarious laughter! Are Iowa Republicans really prepared to nominate a laughing stock for governor whose campaign is the equivalent of Joe Biden’s basement campaign?
