@Rainmaker1973 This might be misconstrued as the Gambler’s Fallacy however because there is a surgeon involved , the surgeon can learn whereas the roulette table (for example ) doesn’t give a damn either way, doesn’t have a memory or history of what went before So the odds are in your favour.

WHY DOES GOD ALLOW SUFFERING? THE REAL QUESTION IS, WHY DOES HE ALLOW EVIL? IT COMES DOWN TO ONE THING: FREE WILL. GOD DESIRES SOMETHING DEEPER, A LOVE CHOSEN FREELY. DON'T BELIEVE IN HIM BECAUSE SOMEONE ELSE DID: BELIEVE BECAUSE YOU SEE WHO HE TRULY IS, BECAUSE YOU UNDERSTAND WHAT THE CROSS MEANT FOR YOU. AS FOR SUFFERING, I DON'T CLAIM TO UNDERSTAND ALL OF GOD'S PLAN BUT HERE'S A THOUGHT: IF HE WIPED OUT ALL EVIL, WHERE WOULD THAT LEAVE US? WE'VE ALL MADE MISTAKES, HURT OTHERS IN WAYS WE MIGHT NOT EVEN SEE. IF GOD ERASED EVERY TRACE OF EVIL, HE'D START WITH EACH OF US, JUST AS MUCH AS THE WORST WE SEE IN THE WORLD.
