I will never forget the 1st time I saw him
Pouring over his notes
Thrilled when he went to an ACC Foster home
Devastated when he was returned, horrified to see him Kill Listed
This glorious boy
Who arrived in all his sociable, playful, loving glory
The only dog I ever knew ACC to pay for Aboquel, to nurse through CIRDC, pay for pneumonia treatment.
But we broke him. We made him fearful, developed separation anxiety, never fulfilled his needs. We tortured this sublime boy. In & out of homes, in & out of his cage, through it all he was a good boy. His faith in us, unwavering. His belief he was in good hands w/ people who would honor & respect his life.
Oh baby boy, you were so wrong😭
I will carry you every day in my memories.
