- Started investing with $1,000 when I was 16 - Saved up from work and got my account to $10,000 by 18 - Discovered options and took my account to 100k by being a degenerate - Luck didn't continue and I stopped when my account fell back to 10k - Decided I wanted to learn a better way to invest and spent the next 2-3 years learning my ass off (Still learning to this day...) - Since then I've grown my account back to over 150k It's not always pretty, easy, or quick.. but if you're willing to eat your ego, learn from others, losing money doesn't have to be the end your story.

You're KILLING your reach on X and here's why: - Following too many bot accounts: Avoid any accounts with only reposts, website links/selling something in bio/pinned post, or terrible follower/following ratio. - Posting too often/Low value content: Reach is split between posts and they gain traction if it performs well quickly. Sweet spots can typically be found at about 2-8 posts a day and 15-30 replies a day. Avoid posting or replying with one or two words that don't add anything or spark replies. - Following/Unfollowing too often: Spamming follow and unfollow to improve your ratio can come off "botty" to the algorithm. Try to keep it to about 5-10 for both (Follow premium accounts to help with monetization and avoid unfollowing accounts quickly after following them)

@sto_spencer I was in it for awhile. Just a case where valuation made sense, but the stock just stunk. I'm trying to get better at not staying in losers and find better opportunities. There may be a case soon where sentiment shifts for it but not the past few years 😂

@cantonmeow I think @nikitabier explained it like you get a certain allocated reach among all your posts, so if you're posting too much, your reach is getting spread out too thin. Maybe try posting a little less? Sounds twisted, but maybe just something to experiment with..

I don't know if it's the algorithm changes or if it's just the market's sucking and people aren't interested, but my impression counts are basically back to levels in April 2025, which went up for 6 months as the market continued to do extremely well during that period.
