I don't know if it was because he was he placed a woman, three quads, or another newbie but he left quickly after he finished. It's not a sport you just pick up on the spot and expect to dominate right away. I wouldn't be surprised if he didn't try it again afterward. (5/5)

We unload near the start line to transfer to our racing wheelchairs and warm-up. He was maybe one of three or four doing the race that were new to the sport but he was the only one that didn't much in terms warming up and getting ready for the race. (4/x)

After reading the article from @slooterman I can say as someone who is a #paralympian and seen Cawthorn race that it's only the tip of the iceberg. He did one race in 2019 but either didn't put in the effort or gave up after realizing hard work is required. (1/x)

I cannot say I am shocked today about the U.S. Capitol or the PA Capitol. Time to acknowledge that some people are willing to throw out democracy for authoritarianism. Time to realize their "protesting" is rarely peaceful or nonviolent. (1/2)

@_SL74 @matty5573 Past stats? 🤷🏾‍♂️ At least that's one of the contingency plans I've heard through news articles. The real problem is we athletes are left in the dark while the Games organizers, IOC/IPC, and NOCs/NPCs are trying to maintain the status quo.

@matty5573 Exactly my thoughts! We’ve had no races so far this year and non scheduled before the games take place (if they do) 🤷🏼‍♂️ maybe just submit a letter saying I was on record breaking form this year 😉😂
