DAX punished me until I respected the star schema. Wrote up the lessons learnt, with a development banking lens (loan book, borrowers, branches). If you have ever fought CALCULATE and lost, this one is for you. 🔗👇

The next evolution of GPT 🤝 GitHub Copilot is here. OpenAI GPT-4.1 is now available for all Copilot Plans, including Free, via the model picker in Visual Studio Code and GitHub.com chat (support in Visual Studio and JetBrains coming soon). It’s also up and running on GitHub Models, for all your model comparison needs. GPT-4.1 improves on GPT-4o’s coding accuracy, performance, and context awareness. It’s a strong choice for tasks that require speed, responsiveness, and general-purpose reasoning. 🤖And it’s ready for you to explore today. 🚀

I’m thrilled to announce that after publishing my Power BI report, I saved it again before I was able to close Power BI Desktop.

4 things a Power BI developer should NOT do 1. Keep all the data in the model "just in case" 2. Ignore or avoid the business users. Sooner or later they will find you 3. Pack the report with charts and 100 slicers to “see the data from every angle”. If it shows everything it tells you nothing 4. Ignoring UX the whole time and think report design is about choosing the colors for the last 10 min of the development. #powerbi #report #design
