design always starts with a hypothesis, and it might prove out as fun or not. if your audience isn't having fun, its okay to have been wrong... doubling down into what people don't think is fun just ain't good game design, and you shouldn't be at war with your fans.

as someone who works in gamedev, the tekken team sticking to their guns from a design standpoint feels like stubborness. i know they can't fix the major complaints with the road they've gone down, wouldn't it just make sense to just tone things down across the board?

Odd practice mode only bug. If you hit the opponent with the final hit of a HS that results in a wall bound, after the wall bound animation you get back your heat meter. Here are a few examples. #TEKKEN8

@thechosenwonton It starts you off with 4/4, but you have to input on 7th quarter note. But then you quickly get into 2/2 and now I'm in the polyrhythm section, so yeah...

this is absolutely unrelated to the latest t8 patch, but people should play Rhythm Doctor. Beat the level 2 boss and I can't stop smiling even after playing the level five times and rewatching it maybe a dozen times. Unsure how much I will sleep tonight.

Ultimately I'm sad that the combo counter fix is going to rob me of scrolling Reddit posts of how ak is overtuned and ruining meta bc of a combo that requires 3-4 non broken ground throws. Robbing me of my personal Christmas. People in Strongstyle discord know this isn't a joke.

I've been pretty quiet bc of game release this week and personal stuff, but what was getting me through the tough times was "armor king death combo" season. My favorite moments of every Tekken. It is my Christmas. Non guaranteed combos followed by "ak is broken" comment.
