Mothin Ali is lying about the pro-regime protest that he attended, and disgracefully accusing people criticising him for attending it of racism. Here is the website of one of the organisers of the events, and the eulogy they published for Khomenei x.com/MothinAli/stat…

Starmer, Shellbrooke, Taylor should be ashamed. Desperate, they know their time as MPs is up so they're lashing out hoping to score some political points. @TheGreenParty is going to replace them! The majority of the UK is with me, no more illegal wars! theguardian.com/politics/2026/…

The story of modern Manchester is a story of the power of music. It was the catalyst for the city’s turn-around in the 80s, filling the empty warehouses and bringing back belief. It’s why it’s so fitting that the UK’s music capital tonight hosts the first @Brits outside London.

If it’s a tax, it’s one that rich people can opt out of and which higher earners from poorer backgrounds pay more for longer. It’s a punishment on those who are socially mobile. And these loans cause serious issues for people with interrupted studies or who change course.
Renaud Foucart@RenaudFoucart

The moment has come to stop calling it "student loans:" it's not a loan, it is not repaid in full, and there are no fixed T&C. It's a graduate tax that applies only to young workers. And it allows governments to increase taxes on a single generation while protecting the others.

I was told “borrow money to go to university and you can repay what you owe once you start earning enough”. Not “go to university and later we will feel free to seize as much of your income as we decide to fund the state’s other spending commitments”.

Labour minister admits that they are deliberately charging higher debt repayments to graduates who work, in order to pay higher benefits to people who do not work.
